At Last, Heavenly Acoustics Are Heard in the Hall

The inaugural sampler concert at the renovated Alice Tully Hall included the gamba virtuoso Jordi Savall and members of his Hespèrion XXI ensemble.
The first music heard by an actual audience in the extensively renovated auditorium was three mournful, elegiac Sephardic Romances from the 15th century.
