Grand opera "Aida" goes from the Met to movie houses in HD

The Metropolitan Opera in New York City will offer its second live high-definition transmission of the 2009-10 season Saturday. Verdi's "Aida," one of the most lavish productions in the Met repertory -- with Violetta Urmana in the title role and Johan Botha as Rhadames -- can be seen in Connecticut and nearby New York theaters at 1 p.
