SIGISMONDO, ÓPERA DE ROSSINI (1814)

Assisti a uma gravação em vídeo da produção de Pesaro (2010).
Música muito boa e original com algumas inovações, como o uso do contrabaixo dando suporte a uma ária. Dois anos depois, Rossini utiliza-se de parte da música de Sigismondo no "Barbeiro"

Como sempre solos lindos de instrumentos de sopro e metais em introduções orquestrais. Elenco de primeira: Daniela Barcellona, Olga Peretyatko, Antonino Siragusa. Também bastante original é a bela abertura que eu já conhecia de gravação em CD.
A produção situa o enredo no  século XIX.
