Foram 10 vencedores do 11º Concurso Brasileiro de Canto Maria Callas que foram selecionados para a apresentação na Ópera Rigoletto de Giuseppe Verdi. Eles se apresentarão nos recitais de encerramento que acontecem no dia 20 de abril, sábado, às 20h, no Auditório da Secretaria Municipal de Educação, em Jacareí e no dia 21 de abril, domingo, às 18h, no Theatro São Pedro em São Paulo. Os pianistas são Daniel Gonçalves e Karin Uzun. Os recitais são gratuitos e abertos ao público. Realização: Cia Ópera São Paulo e Brindisi Produções. Apoio: Instituto Pensarte e Istituto Italiano di Cultura de São Paulo. Patrocínio SABESP, Governo do Estado de São Paulo e Prefeitura Municipal de Jacareí.

O prêmio dos vencedores do 11º Concurso Brasileiro de Canto Maria Callas será a participação de quatro apresentações da Ópera Rigoletto no mês de julho de 2013, nas cidades de Jacareí e São José dos Campos e seus respectivos cachês.

11º Concurso Brasileiro de Canto Maria Callas reuniu 75 candidatos do Brasil (Distrito Federal, Espírito Santo, Minas Gerais, Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul, Rio de Janeiro e São Paulo), Estados Unidos (1), Peru (1) eUruguai (2). 

Júri foi composto por:

Fernando Sáns Riviere (Espanha) – Diretor Geral da Revista Ópera Actual de Barcelona.

Vogais

Bruna Baglioni (Itália) – Mezzo-soprano com carreira nos principais teatros de ópera do mundo.

Marco Boemi (Itália) – Diretor de orquestra e pianista.

Richard Martet (França) – Redator Chefe da Revista Opera Magazine de Paris.

Alessandro Gilleri (Itália) – Diretor de Produção da Fundação Teatro Lírico G. Verdi de Trieste.

Carlos Aransay (Inglaterra) – Diretor de orquestra, diretor artístico do Concurso Internacional de Canto de Trujillo (Peru), diretor e professor da London Lyric Arts.
