Oct. 16 (Bloomberg) -- I look at the dapper gent in his blazer across the table and happy memories are mine. He's Julius Rudel, 85, who presided over the New York City Opera's move to the new Lincoln Center in 1966 and made the company glitter with stars and enterprising repertoire: Beverly Sills, for instance, dazzling the crowds as Cleopatra in Handel's ``Julius Caesar.''
