Gustavo returns to the Hollywood Bowl

This week Gustavo returns to the Hollywood Bowl for six performances with today's leading artists in Americas and Americans, a celebration of music from North and South America and the shared heritage and cultural experiences across the hemispheres.

Gustavo's summer season kicks off tonight with celebrated cellist Yo-Yo Ma in a special performance of Schumann's Cello Concerto. The August 7 program concludes with Dudamel leading the LA Phil in Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4. OnAugust 9, pianist Yuja Wang joins Dudamel for a performance of Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 in an all-Tchaikovsky program that reprises the composer's Symphony No. 4. Gustavo's Hollywood Bowl appearances will also includeVerdi's Rigoletto in an August 12 concert performance with a cast headed by baritone Zeljko Lučić. >>More
