The concert is dedicated to the memory of the lateClaudio Abbado. In Oman on January 24, Gustavo and the Bolívars present an all-Tchaikovsky program comprising the Russian composer’s Fourth Symphony and his Fantasy Overtures to The Tempest andRomeo and Juliet at Muscat’s Royal Opera House. The group caps off its tour onJanuary 27 in Abu Dhabi at Emirates Palace Auditorium with performances of Tchaikovsky’s Fantasy Overtures to The Tempestand Romeo and Juliet, as well as Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony.
