On June 23, 2019 the Opera Fuoco orchestra and soloists, the Tölzer boys choir and guest soloists Andreas Scholl and Laurent Naouri, performed Johann Sebastian Bach's B-minor Mass under the direction of David Stern in the St Thomas church in Leipzig ⛪.

For this performance, the configuration of the chorus in front of the orchestra closely follows the placement Bach regularly used for choral works with instrumental accompaniment during his years as Thomas Cantor, despite some modifications made to the organ loft in the 19th century.
