Sept. 19 (Bloomberg) -- Film director Atom Egoyan (``Where the Truth Lies'') has just staged the kinkiest part of Wagner's ``Ring'' cycle at the new Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto. That would be ``Die Walkure,'' in which a brother discovers his long-lost sister in a forest hut. Their love child later falls in love with his aunt.
The ``Ride of the Valkyries'' is the opera's most famous piece -- staged by Egoyan without helmets or horses. Maybe that's why a few fierce traditionalists booed him last week.
