Soprano Danielle de Niese starts off the new year with the release of an album close to her heart, Beauty of the Baroque. According to the New York Times, Danielle is a "voice seductive enough to woo gods as well as mortals." Collaborating for the first time with Andreas Scholl, Danielle sings selections by Dowland, Handel, J.S. Bach and others.
Danielle will perform highlights from the Beauty of the Baroque at (le) poisson rouge in NYC on January 23rd.
