A soprano Roxana Kostka e a mezzo-soprano Fernanda K. Soifer são as convidadas da série “Música em Pauta”, promovida mensalmente pela Associação Paulista de Medicina
A ópera francesa e algumas de suas mais belas árias e duetos são o tema do recital que o Grupo Serenata apresentará dia 12 de dezembro, às 20h30, no Auditório Nobre da Associação Paulista de Medicina (APM). O evento acontece dentro da série mensal “Música em Pauta”, promovida pela APM e que reúne grandes talentos do cenário erudito nacional e internacional.
Formado pela soprano Roxana Kostka, a mezzo-soprano Fernanda K. Soifer, o pianista e maestro Ilso Muner e o ator Richard Bromberg, o grupo Serenata costuma trazer em seus espetáculos, além da parte artística, um conteúdo didático que visa aproximar o público, cada vez mais, do universo operístico.
Para o concerto do dia 12, as sopranos interpretam árias de Bizet (Comme autrefois de Pescadores de Pérolas e Habanera de Carmen), Gounod (Faites-lui mes aveux de Fausto e Ah! Je veux vivre de Romeu e Julieta) e o famoso dueto de Offenbach (Barcarole, de Os Contos de Hoffmann), entre outras surpresas.

Diogo Maia – solo clarineta
Diogo Maia nasceu em 1984 em Brasília e iniciou seus estudos musicais aos nove anos de idade na Escola de Musica da cidade, onde se formou em 2002. Recentemente, bacharelou-se em clarinete no departamento de musica da ECA-USP sob orientação de Luis Afonso “Montanha”. Desde 2003 atua como clarinetista da Orquestra de Câmara da USP (OCAM) e atualmente integra o grupo musical de performance avançada da USP.
Participou de diversos festivais e masterclasses onde teve aulas com Wolfgang Meyer (Alemanha), Romain Guyot (França), Jonathan Cohler (EUA), Michael Collins (Inglaterra), Stephan Schwab (Alemanha), Alois Brandhofer (Alemanha), Eric Hoepric (Holanda); Paulo Sérgio Santos, Cristiano Alves, Edmilson Nery, Luis Gonzaga Carneiro, Ricardo Freire, entre outros. Tem um grande trabalho também na musica popular, quando tocou com Hermeto Pascoal, Ricardo Zohio, Vittor Santos e Leandro Braga, entre outros nomes.
Em 2005 participou do premiado CD Villa-Lobos em Paris, dirigido por Gil Jardim. Já ministrou aulas no Festival de Música de Prados e é professor de clarinete na Universidade Adventista de São Paulo. Em 2003 venceu o concurso “Jovens Interpretes da Música Brasileira” do Centro Cultural São Paulo. Em 2006, ganhou o I Prêmio Estímulo Santander/OCAM e foi por dois anos seguidos, vencedor do “Projeto Nascente”, da USP.
Eduardo Monteiro – solo piano
Eduardo Monteiro é considerado um dos grandes expoentes do piano no Brasil. Após sua formação pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), aperfeiçoou-se na Fondazione Internazionale per il Pianoforte, Itália, doutorou-se em Musicologia pela Universidade de Paris IV Sorbonne, França, e conquistou o Artist Diploma no New England Conservatory de Boston, EUA.
Ainda muito jovem, alcançou as mais importantes premiações de piano no Brasil e, em 1989, conquistou o primeiro lugar no III Concurso Internacional de Colônia, Alemanha, assim como foi laureado em Dublin, Irlanda, e em Santander, Espanha. Atuou como solista de consagradas orquestras do país e do exterior, entre elas destacam-se: Filarmônicas de São Petersburgo, Moscou, Munique, Nacional da Irlanda, Orquestra de Câmara de Viena, Osesp, OSB e OSPA.
Dentre os maestros, apresentou-se com Yuri Temirkanov, Mariss Jansons, Dimitri Kitayenko, Eleazar de Carvalho, Isaac Karabtchevsky, John Neschling e Roberto Minczuk. Em 2004 e 2005, por dois anos consecutivos, foi agraciado com o Prêmio Carlos Gomes. É professor de piano da USP e vem realizando turnês de grande sucesso.

A tragédia Macbeth, passada na Escócia, conta a historia de Macbeth, um dos generais do rei Duncan, bem sucedido em sua luta com os rebeldes. Ele recebe a visita de três bruxas, que predizem seu destino como futuro senhor de terras e rei da Inglaterra. Lady Macbeth, esposa do general, trama a morte do rei para colocar seu esposo no lugar.
No ano de 1991, com a finalidade de proporcionar maior espaço aos talentos brasileiros, o tenor Paulo Abrão Esper criou a Cia Ópera São Paulo que já produziu cerca de 400 espetáculos entre concertos, recitais e encenações de óperas.
Entre a imensa lista de grandes artistas da cena lírica brasileira que fazem parte da história da Cia. de Ópera, podemos citar cantores como Niza de Castro Tank, Luiza de Moura, Cláudia Riccitelli, Edna D’Oliveira, Gabriella Pace (sopranos); Regina Elena Mesquita, Luciana Bueno (mezzos); Marcello Vannucci, Rubens Medina (tenores); Rodrigo Esteves, Rio Novello, Andrea Ramus, Paulo Szot (barítonos); Sandro Chirstofer, Pepes do Valle (baixos). Maribel Ortega estudou Graduação Superior de Canto com Enriqueta Tarrés, com quem segue aperfeiçoando-se atualmente e aconselhada por Manuel Ruiz em repertório. Finalista e vencedora em vários concursos internacionais de canto, já atuou em recitais na Espanha, França e Alemanha interpretando obras de M. De Falla, F. Garcia Lorca, J. Turina, X. Montsalvatge, M. Ravel, R. Strauss, R. Schumann Weber, Puccini, Verdi, Wagner e Beethoven. Assim como numerosos concertos e representações de zarzuela. Cantou também oratório, destacando-se o Réquiem de
Mozart e Vesperae Solemne de Confessore KV 339 do mesmo autor. Em ópera cantou Nabucco (Abigail) de Verdi, em forma de concerto.
